Restoring that trust requires accountability. Leaders must be transparent about their decisions, honest about challenges, and willing to answer to the people they represent.

As an attorney, I’ve seen how accountability protects fairness and strengthens institutions. The same principle applies in public service. Government officials should be held to high standards because the impact of their decisions is real and personal.
